Over a year later

Oops, I completely forgot this thing even exists. I see it's been over a year since the last update, and there's certainly been some changes. Since the last post, I continued as I was into the season change, and as it got colder I did less and less. I renovated the bathroom and Dining room, but that's really the only thing notable. Oh wait, I got married at the end of the year as well. After that, I got a new job at the end of April of this year, and as if the time if writing this, I've been there for almost 6 months. It's fine; I don't see myself there forever, and they seem to think I'm dumb, so, more days than not, I don't really seem to do much, but oh well; I'm not going to fight to work harder--I'm still getting paid the same either way. Aside from that, it's currently contract negotiation time for the spouse, and it is not going well so far. Early morning and late nights lead to us not seeing each other until the weekend. I'm really hoping it's not going to end up in a strike, but it's certainly not going well. But we will have to see how it all plays out.

What else is new?

Uhh..

I paid off my car and spent almost $5,000 getting my van fixed, and still managed to keep myself [relatively] debt free; as I'm only holding about $400 worth of debt currently. I've been working on getting the bank and stock accounts built back up after draining everything for my unemployment, and we're more than halfway back to where I was, so I guess it's nice that I'm building it back up twice as fast as I had built it previously.

Lastly, I've been dealing with a significant amount of depression throughout the summer, which is very unlike me. I'm nervous what the seasons have in store for me as it gets colder out. It already smells like "back to school" outside for the last few weeks, and about a week ago the leaves started falling. I'm quite apprehensive about what's to come, but by no means am in going to let it bring me down; I am going to try to fight it if (when) it comes.

But for now, I guess that's about all I have to update you in over the last year or so, and not many updates in the immediate forseeable future as all my friends are currently out of town for extended periods of time. Though I did just buy concert tickets for a show tomorrow; maybe that will be notable.
